Why Tailwind

You're hiring 25 years of doing the work

Tailwind is led by David Nelan, 25+ years in the trades, two decades building and finishing exteriors across the metro, with a Class B contractor's license that covers commercial work up to four stories. That experience is the standard every job is held to.

1. Free inspection

We look at the roof, show you photos of what's actually there, and lay out your options. No pitch.

2. Clear scope

You get the scope, the materials, and the price in plain terms before anything starts.

3. Done right

We install, clean up after ourselves, and stand behind the work. On time, as described.

What neighbors say

Omaha homeowners on Tailwind

Our roof was 22 years old and starting to show it. They came out, showed us the options, and didn't push us toward the most expensive one. Crew was in and out in a day. Looks great and we got the insurance discount on our premium with the new shingles.
Sarah M., Dundee
We had hail damage and weren't sure where to start with insurance. They walked me through the whole process and met the adjuster when he came out. Claim covered everything. Roof looks better than the original.
Mike R., Bennington
We got a few quotes and they were the most straightforward about what actually needed to be done versus what didn't. No pressure, just here's what we found, here's what we'd recommend. That went a long way with us.
Jennifer L., Bellevue

Questions

Common questions

Do I call insurance or a roofer first after storm damage?

Call us first. We'll inspect and tell you whether there's damage worth filing a claim for, so you're not opening one you don't need. If you do file, you'll have the documentation ready.

How much does a roof cost in Omaha?

A typical 2,000 sq ft home runs about $10,000 to $12,000 depending on material and complexity. You get the figure up front, not a range that conveniently grows later.

How long does a roof replacement take?

Most homes are done in a day or two. Larger or steeper roofs take a bit longer. Either way you get a clear timeline before we start.

Do I need impact-resistant shingles?

It depends on your roof's exposure and your goals. In Omaha's hail corridor a Class 4 shingle is worth a look, and it can earn an insurance discount, but it isn't required for every home. We'll lay out the trade-off.

Is there any obligation for an inspection?

None. We look at the roof, show you what we found, and you decide where to go from there. No follow-up calls you didn't ask for.

Ready when you are

Free inspection, photos of what we find, and a clear path forward.
