Why Tailwind

You're hiring 25 years of doing the work

Tailwind is led by David Nelan, 25+ years in the trades, two decades building and finishing exteriors across the metro, with a Class B contractor's license that covers commercial work up to four stories. That experience is the standard every job is held to.

1. Free inspection

We get on the roof, take photos of what's actually up there, and walk you through what we found. If it doesn't need work, we'll say so.

2. Clear scope

You get the scope, the materials, and the price in a detailed estimate before anything starts, so there are no surprises mid-job.

3. Done right

We show up when we said we would, do the work, clean up after ourselves, and stand behind it after we're gone.

Questions

Common questions

Do I call insurance or a roofer first after storm damage?

Call us first. We'll inspect and tell you whether there's damage worth filing a claim for, so you're not opening one you don't need. If you do file, you'll have the documentation ready.

How much does a roof cost in Omaha?

A typical 2,000 sq ft home runs about $10,000 to $12,000 depending on material and complexity. You get the figure up front, not a range that conveniently grows later.

How long does a roof replacement take?

Most homes are done in a day or two. Larger or steeper roofs take a bit longer. Either way you get a clear timeline before we start.

Do I need impact-resistant shingles?

It depends on your roof's exposure and your goals. In Omaha's hail corridor a Class 4 shingle is worth a look, and it can earn an insurance discount, but it isn't required for every home. We'll lay out the trade-off.

Is there any obligation for an inspection?

None. We look at the roof, show you what we found, and you decide where to go from there. No follow-up calls you didn't ask for.

Ready when you are

Free inspection, photos of what we find, and a clear path forward.
